Nowhere to be Found

Pretty good, huh?

I have officially decided the name of my movie: "Nowhere to be Found". I know that I've dismissed light bulb moments before as an inconsistent form of progress, but this title was absolutely the product of one. As I stated before, I was looking for a title that made it clear to the audience what kind of tragedy stopped the scrapbooking. However, I wanted to make sure it wasn't too on the nose either. After all, it's not like I'm gonna call the movie "My Daughter is Missing" or something. I needed to find a name that struck a nice balance.

(Also, that one's already taken).

So, I took to the internet. The first thing I tried was searching synonyms of  "Missing" on Thesaurus.com. For a minute, I thought I'd struck gold when I saw the name "Lost", until I remembered the hit CBS show of the same name. Curse you, J.J. Abrams! Even though this movie will never see an actual cinematic release, it's important to me that I treat it as if it will. Therefore, there's no way I could have my film share a name with such a cultural phenomenon.

But the name "Lost" set me on the right track. It got me thinking of things associated with the idea of being lost. Where was Molly in this movie? She was nowhere, nowhere to be found. The moment those four words popped into my head, I'd already decided. This will be the name of my movie: Nowhere to be Found. This name tells us just enough about the story of the movie, without giving any key details away. I could instantly imagine this name popping up at the end of the scrapbook. So that's my title, and the title of this website now too I suppose. I'm excited, and I hope you are too.
